The OLCT 10N is a digital gas detector designed for detection of the most common gases in commercial and light industrial applications. Intended for use in combination with the MX 43, the OLCT 10N provides a fast and accurate response. Up to 32 detectors can be connected on the same digital line or distributed on 8 lines. All transmitter information is received by the controller in less than 1 second.

Non-intrusive operator interface requires only a simple magnetic wand and allows one man calibration without opening the enclosure, and calibration information, such as span reserve, is stored in the MX43.

The OLCT 10N is IP65 and ATEX 3 GD certified, for use in ATEX 2 and 22 zones, and is water- and dustproof.

OLC 20 Detector
The new generation of OLC 20 combustible sensors are unaffected by poisons. The units provide extremely quick response times and complete
reliability. They can be fitted on a housing with a M25 or 3/4″ NPT thread.

OLC 20D Detector
Based on the OLC 20 sensor unit, the OLC 20D detector is equipped with a 15 m long cable (standard version) and fitting gland for direct connection to a data logger. A high-temperature version allows operation at 200°C.

New Generation: New Advantages
The stainless steel detector provides protection and resistance to corrosive agents. Classified IP 66, they are resistant to dust and water ingress. The precalibrated sensors of the OLCT 20 and OLCT 20D can be disconnected by turning the head of the unit. Sensor Unit OLCT 20
The OLCT 20 sensor units, which are equipped with pre-calibrated sensors (flammable, toxic or oxygen), are classified as flameproof or intrinsically safety according to your needs or the gases detected. As in the case of the OLC 20, they are fitted on the housing by a M25 or 3/4″ NPT thread.

Based on the OLCT 20 sensor unit, the OLCT 20D detector-transmitter is equipped with a 15 m long cable (standard version) and a packing gland for direct connection to a data-logger.

The OLC/OLCT 100 range of fied detectors has been designed for detection of explosive gases, toxic gases or oxygen. At Oldham, our products are always application driven, solution-oriented. Options include:

  • OLCT 100 transmitter with 4-20 mA output
  • OLC 100 detector with a Wheatstone bridge output for detection of explosive gases.
  • Available in explosion-proof or intrinsically safe versions, the OLC (T) 100 is suitable for detection of all gases in ATEX zones.
  • The OLCT 100 is available in a stainless steel version, offering increased resistance to corrosive elements (ideal for marine, wastewater treatment
    plants, food processing activities…).
  • This stainless steel intrinsically safe version is certifid for use in zones 0 (gas) and 20 (dust), whereas all other versions of the OLCT 100 are certified for use in zones 1 (gas) and 21 (dust).

OLCT 100 XP: Explosion-proof version is equipped with a catalytic, electrochemical or semiconductor sensor, for detection of explosive, toxic gases or oxygen.

OLCT 100 IS: Intrinsically safe version is equipped with an electrochemical sensor for detection of toxic gases or oxygen.

OLCT 100 XP IR: Explosion-proof IR version is equipped with an infrared sensor for detection of CO2.

OLCT 100 XP HT: High temperature explosion-proof version for detection of explosive gases up to 200°C. High temperature cable included – 5, 10, 15 meter lengths. The OLC(T) 100 is SIL 2 certified by INERIS, according to the EN 50402 standard, which corresponds to IEC/EN 61508 for gas detectors.

The MX 43 is an analog and digital controller designed for the continuous measurement and control of the gases present in the atmosphere and for 4-20 mA or digital contact signal.
MX 43 manages both digital lines and analog channels, and covers all needs for a wide variety of applications.

The MX 43 digital technology allows up to 32 detectors to be distributed on 8 lines for increased cost savings.The USB option enables gas measurements to be saved at a sampling rate of 2 seconds to 15minutes while events are saved when they happen. The 4 Gb USB drive provides more than 2 years of storage in most of configurations. The USB option also delivers the ability to save and restore configuration and firm ware files.
